Asgard Grey Alien

I spent allot of time on the head, then quickly roughed in the body, then added detail.

President Obama 3d caricature

Here is one of an Obama caricature. the suit still needs work.

Retro Headphones

Modeled using the old “Retro Headphones” Using my knowledge of the 2.6 UI I was able to easily translate the tutorial from 2.49 to 2.6. I had to play with the spin and screw tools, which were a little different.I learned about connecting curves with a mesh through “parenting”

Incandescent Lightbulbs

Incandescent Light-bulbs following the tutorial. Having trouble with the metal texture. I had t decipher 2.49 to 2.63 in my head as I did the tutorial, thank-goodness most of the concepts Blender stayed the same throughout the upgrades.

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer

Blender 2.6 tutorial, we start with a cube, and box-model out the head and face of a stylized cartoon reindeer.

I started out following the tutorial, then thru allot of tweaking. Decided to go with the blue eyes from the concept.

Finally done. Thanks Dave for the great tutorial. I learned allot.

I think I can use this tutorial to create many animals, like a dog or horse.

Little Bot Bunny

I made a base mesh with cubes to layout the form. Than I added loop cuts later for the details. the head and head detail are a uvsphere.

Low Poly Game Character "Storm Shadow"

This is one of my first models I made following Jonathan Williamson’s old Modeling a lowpoly character. It’s a bit out dated I know. But I like the Tutorial for it’s simplicity and ease of workflow.
Rendered with the new “setup wire materials”
